Nigel Paul Stokes

My dad was an alcoholic for 7 years before he died. He felt alone and sad. He thought that a lot of the things that had gone wrong in our family's' lives was his fault, this wasnt true but there was no way he would listen to me.
My dad was so caring and would do anything for anyone, he was very protective over me and was always there for me no matter what. He wasnt just my dad but my best friend too. No he's gone it feels like part of me has too, i could always turn to him.
He love football and was a big Man U fan he also loved darts and was very good at playing. He liked most sports and when he was younger played a lot of football.
He had 2 sisters and 2 brothers, he was very close to his brother Keith who died a year before he did and close to his sister Jenny. He lived with his mum before he died and they was really close.
We all miss him so much, there is something missing in our lives and thats him.
Daddy i hope your at peace and always remember i love you more than words can ever say.
